Actor Pruthviraj should pay Rs 8 lakh per month

Hyderabad June 30: A Family Court in Vijayawada ordered Comedian Pruthvi to pay Rs 8 lakh per month as alimony to his Wife on grounds of separation.

Seshu alias Balireddy Pruthviraj married Sri Lakshmi, who is a native of Arandalpeta in Vijayawada, in 1984. They have two children. Sri Lakshmi's Parents used to run the sweet shop in Vijayawada. After her father's death, Srilakshmi & Pruthvi took care of business for some time.

Out of his passion for acting, Pruthvi had visited Chennai frequently for offers during this period. After becoming busy as an actor, He shifted his family to Hyderabad. Due to clashes, Pruthvi sent Srilakshmi out of his house on April 5th, 2016. Attempts made by family members to unite the couple hasn't yielded results as Pruthvi didn't cooperate.

On November 2nd, 2016, Srilakshmi filed a case against Pruthvi under Section 498. She even moved family court seeking Rs 10 lakh per month from Pruthvi as alimony. As Pruthvi didn't receive the summons, Sri Lakshmi issued a Paper Statement. The judge ordered Pruthvi to pay Rs 8 lakh per month to his wife after he didn't turn up for the hearing.
