Comedian was attacked by Hijras on his birthday

Chennai June 29: Kottachi is one of the popular comedians in Tamil films. Even though he evokes laughs on-screen with his typical body language and funny antiques, he came across a bitter experience recently.

Kottachi was celebrating his birthday on Monday. He started traveling from Chennai to Selam to celebrate his birthday with his family members. By the time he reached Selam it was well past midnight.

Kottachi hired an auto to reach his home. Two others also boarded the auto later. They started attacking him after few minutes.. they have snatched away his gold chain... Rs. 2,500 cash... ATM card.. and they have thrown him out of the autorickshaw. Kottachi was shellshocked with the unexpected incident.. he got his composure back and called up another comedian Benjamin and narrated the incident. They have filed a complaint with the police later.

On the other hand, some others are saying that Kottachi was under the influence of alcohol.. so, the auto driver has robbed him with the help of two hijras. Police are investigating the case to catch the culprits. Whatever be the case.. it is really a bitter experience on a birthday.
