GST :Jammu and kashmir people to suffer

NewDelhi, June 29: The central government is all set to launch Indias biggest reform GST. The Government on Wednesday night had organized a mega rehearsal event in the central hall of parliament. Sources say that the event organized will resemble Indias independence function which was held on 14 August 1947 midnight.

Officials said that all states and center is ready but expect Jammu Kashmir, they said that the state has not yet passed the SGST bill.The J&K finance minister has said that we will take a call today to build a consensus.He said that we have constituted a committee and it will take a final call today. He hoped that a good news will be delivered by the committee.

Earlier Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has written a letter to state chief minister Mehabooba Mufti and urged to pass the bill as early as possible.Minister also said that people of the state will suffer because they will pay double taxes.Finally, let's hope that Jammu and Kashmir also join the mega event tomorrow night by passing the bill.
