AP Minister Acchennaidu about welfare of Muslim Minorities

Andhra Pradesh: Srikakulam, June 26: The Andhra Pradesh Minister Acchennaidu has announced that The Government has planning to introduce various schemes for the welfare of minorities here on Monday.

During the occasion of Ramzan, the Minister attended the Iftar Party, which was organized by the government at the Jamia mosque in GT Road in Srikakulam District.

He sought the govt to sanction the Rs.840 Crores for Muslims and other minorities in the state.

He said that the Govt is planning to set up Gurukulam Schools and also providing the facility of higher studies in abroad countries.

On this occasion, the minister has distributed cheques to various mosque administrators in the district. According to the district Collector Dhananjay Reddy, the government is doing well for the welfare of minorities.They will provide funds to the 52 mosques in the district.

The Iftar Party was chaired by Assembly members Gunda Lakshmi Devi, Baggu Ramana Murthy, ZP chief Ch. Dhana Lakshmi, SP J. Brahma Reddy, Joint Collector K.V.N Chakradhara babu, Jamia Mosque representatives Mahibullakhan, Abdulvahab and Muslim brothers participated.
