Unused Borewells shutdown in Telangana

Hyderabad, Telangana June 26: A sad incident has happened recently.
An 18-month child has died after she fell into the borewell in Telangana state. Many people's prayers and rescue team efforts of 60 hours couldn't save the child. The death of the child has brought the state into a stand still mode.

The incident has made people realize some of their self-made mistakes. An awareness has come up among the people. Many voluntary organizations have started closing the unused borewells in the surrounding areas of the houses.

Farmers have joined the campaign to the cover their unused borewells and pits in their fields to prevent such incidents. Some NGOs have started training camps on the safety issues that should be followed while constructing borewells.

The media is also playing its role by spreading messages about similar incidents that happened in past few years so that an awakening takes place in people.

Finally, Let's hope that all sections of the society jointly come forward voluntarily to save the people's lives and humanity is maintained in the society.
