IYR Krishna Rao demands Chandrababu over probe of Land scam

Hyderabad, June 25: The Andhra Pradesh Former Chairman of Brahmin Welfare Corporation, IYR Krishna Rao has demanded the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Sunday to order a high-level probe into the allegations leveled against him by one of the senior MPs of Telugu Desam Party and initiate action if he was proved guilty on any count.

Addressing a media conference here, the former chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh denied having even a cent of land in Donakonda of Prakasham district.



"I do not hold any land anywhere in the surroundings of the village. TDP MP Rayapati Sabhasiva Rao who had accused him of owning lands in the area should have ascertained himself of the facts before making any such allegations", he said.

The Chief Minister must think of acting against the MP concerned if he had failed to prove the allegations. Mudslinging for what so ever reason targeting him would no way help the government, he said adding.
