Kailash Mansarovar Pilgrims stopped at Chinese Border

China, June 25: A country has denied entry. China has denied the entry to the first batch of 50 Indian pilgrims who were traveling to Kailash Mansarovar. The travelers were passing through the Nathu La pass in Sikkim.

The country had said that it had denied permission because the roads in Tibet have been damaged due to rains and landslides. Officials said that the pilgrims have returned back to India after they were stopped at the border.

Chinese Officials said that the roads are being repaired and we will try to make sure that the yatra would be resumed as soon as possible. However they have not specified the exact reopening date of the yatra.

Currently, the pilgrims travel to Kailash Manasarovar Yatra via passing through the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. Lets hope that the weather improves and officials speed up road restoration work so that Yatra continues.
