Tirupati Police caught Red sandal Smugglers

Tirupati, June 25: The Tirupati Forest personnel have arrested 4 persons and seized red sanders, who were allegedly smuggling 14 red sanders from Tamil Nadu while combing in Jonnalagadda area of Seshachalam forest last evening.
According to delayed reports here, the team of Forest personnel combing in Jonnalagadda forest area spotted the movement of a group of 16 smugglers carrying red sanders logs on their heads, coming down the hills leading to the team chasing the smugglers.
The smugglers pelted stones towards the team and tried to attack the forest personnel despite repeated warnings to surrender, forcing the combing party to open one round of fire in the air.
