YSRCP filed a case against CM Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh: Kurnool, June 25: The Andhra Pradesh opposition Party YSR Congress general secretary B.Y. Ramaiah has filed a complaint against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the Kurnool III Town police station here on Saturday.

The complaint has filed against Chandrababu Naidu accusing him of violating the oath of office by allegedly threatening the people of Nandyal during his recent tour.

Mr. Naidu's remarks that people were bound to vote for the TDP as they benefited from the welfare schemes such as loan waiver, pension, public distribution system and used the roads laid by his government, and his threat of not developing the towns and villages where the TDP fares poorly in the Nandyal by-election were unconstitutional, Mr. Ramaiah said.

His alleged remark that he can give up to Rs. 5,000 per vote was also unconstitutional, he said.

The Chief Minister, who took the oath of office by swearing in the name of God to render justice to all people without fear or favor and without partiality, should be booked for violation of the oath, the YSRC leader asserted.

He handed over the complaint to Sub-Inspector Ramudu, urging him to register a case.
