PM Modi meets Portugese leader

Lisbon, Portugal June 25: A leader of the nation has held talks with another leader. Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday has held a meeting with his Portuguese counterpart Antonio Costa.

Both the leaders have discussed ways to further intensify bilateral relations between the two countries. PM has arrived at Portuguese on Saturday had said that " his brief visit will further strengthen relations between India and Portugal." Currently, he is in 3 nation tour.

" External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopal Bagley has shared some of the photographs of the two leaders meeting. Earlier yesterday Portuguese Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva has welcomed the Prime Minister at the airport.

External Affairs Ministry has said that Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Portugal on a bilateral trip. PM has left the Portuguese yesterday night and has currently arrived in the USA today morning and he will be meeting American president Donald Trump tomorrow.
