Train derailed in Prakasham district

Andhra Pradesh: Prakasham, June 24: Here a goods train was derailed at Singarayakonda Railway station of Prakasham District, which was carrying petrol tankers in the early hours of Saturday.

While coming to details, The incident occurred in Prakasam district when the train was being sent to loop line to make way for super fast express passenger train.



Meanwhile, Passersby noticed all the 12 bogies being derailed and informed the staff at the railway station who alerted the railway higher officials.

Fortunately, the goods train was traveling at low speed when the derailment took place else the mishap would have been severe.
