GST office in Telangana

Hyderabad June 23: Telangana state has taken the first step in implementing the GST (Utility Tax) to be introduced from next month.

The first GST office in Telangana state was started at MohanReddy Nagar in Rajendranagar Circle in Ranga Reddy district.

The Central Excise Commissioner Sunil Jain opened this office here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that arrangements have been made in the wake of GST coming into effect from next month. GST believes there is a possibility of decreasing prices of around 90 per cent.

The GST will be easier compared to the previous tax system. The question of whether GST would be difficult for one and two months is not to be concerned. He held a meeting with GST employees.
