Hyderabad June 23: Nandamuri Balakrishna-Puri Jagannadh combo is one of the sensational combos Telugu audience have seen the recent past. 'Paisa Vasool' title also appears to be interesting.
Fans are eagerly waiting to see a mass hero like Balayya in 'Pokiri' style Puri direction. There is the positive buzz on the film but distributors are worried to buy the rights for high prices.
Balayya has Rs. 40 crore market in two Telugu states.. but he doesn't have the big market in the USA. No one came forward to buy his last film 'Gautami Putra Satakarni.. even the distributors who came forward they have bargained for less price than the producers were expecting.
Unable to proceed with the less price, producers released the film on their own. Balayya's highest collection till now is only 2 crore for his film 'Legend'. But the producers are said to be quoting 5 crores for 'Paisa Vasool'.No distributor is coming forward to acquire US rights for 5 crores as per the buzz.
Even Puri's track record is very poor in the recent past as most of his films turned out to be duds. Some say that there is another version to this high price.
