Ramnath Files his nomination in presence of Modi

NewDelhi June 23: A nomination has been filed. NDA's presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovid has filed his nomination papers today.Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NDA chief ministers were present during his nomination. Total 4 sets of nominations were filed and first set was signed by PM Modi and second set by Ap CM Chandrababu.

Currently, his candidature was supported by NDA's constituents, AIADMK, BJD, TRS and JD(U), senaYSRCP, Shiva Sena. BJP President Amit Shah, Telangana CM KCR, Tamilnadu CM Palaniswamy, were also present when Kovid filed his papers.



Finally, the BJP hopes that Ramnath will win the election with the support of regional parties. currently, he has 61 % of votes.

Earlier, the opposition has fielded Meira Kumar as their presidential candidate.The NDA has announced Ramnath as its presidential candidate on Monday who was former Governor of Bihar.
