Sindhu, srikanth,praneeth advance to quarters in Australian open

Sydney, Australia June 22: A good news from team India. Indian players PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth, and B Sai Praneeth have advanced to next phase of Tournament in Australian Open.

In Women's Singles matches

* Saina has defeated South Korean player Sung Ji Hyun.She scored 21-10, 21-16.
Nehwal has entered 2nd round of the tournament.

* Rio Olympics gold medallist Sindhu has won against Japanese Sayaka Sato.
She scored 21-17, 14-21, 21-18 in the first round.

* Sindhu has also won the second round against Chinese player Chen X.
She has scored 21-13, 21-18. She has entered quarters.

Men's singles category

* Praneeth had defeated Chinese player Huang Y in the second round
and has entered quarters. He has scored 21-15, 18-21,21-13.

* Earlier yesterday he has defeated Tommy Sugiarto of Indonesia in
his first round. He has scored 10-21, 21-12, 21-10.

* Srikanth comfortably entered final 8 by defeating Korean player Son WH.
He has won by scoring 15-21,21-13,21-13.

* The player has yesterday defeated Kan Chao Yu of Chinese Taipei.
He has scored 21-13, 21-16.

Women's Doubles

Ashwini Ponnappa and Reddy N. Sikki have been eliminated from the tournament after they have lost to Tanaka S and K Yonemoto in the second round.They have scored 21-18, 18-21,13-21.

Yesterday the pair has won against Australian players Hsuan-Yu Wendy Chen and Jennifer Tam They have scored 21-11, 21-13.
