4 extra flights for traveling from Vizag to Sri lanka

Vishakapatnam, June 21: Here is good news for passengers, who want to travel from Vishakapatnam and Sri Lanka regularly.

The Sri Lanka Airways has agreed to operate four more flights from Visakhapatnam. Four flights would be operated every week from Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad to Colombo from July 8.

The Vizag flights would be operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

A Sri Lanka cargo plane will transport marine products, garments, and medicines from Vizag.



Travelers to Colombo will have the opportunity to visit Sakti Peetham of Shankari Devi, temples of Ramayana, beaches and emerald islands. Air traffic by Sri Lankan aircraft has increased by 45 per cent.

Flights would also be operating from Vizag to Australia, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bahrain, Malaysia, Mauritius, Japan, and China. Direct flights to Bangkok would operate from October 28.
