Husband murdered his wife

Hyderabad June 19: A 38-year-old man murdered his 31-year-old wife suspecting her fidelity at their residence under the Banjara Hills police station area, on Saturday.

According to the police officials, the suspect, Nagesh was married to Yashoda and they had three children. Residents of Film Nagar in Banjara Hills, the couple used to run a tea-stall near a pharmacy company in the same area.

On Saturday night, the couple returned home from their village after attending a meeting organized by the village elders regarding their strained relationship.

The police said Nagesh used to harass his wife charging of having an illegal affair with one Sudarshan Goud. He promised the village elders that he will not fight anymore with his wife upon which they had agreed to send her back with him here.

Police said that "However, after reaching home, he quarreled with her again and allegedly killed by hitting her head with a hard wooden material."

On being informed, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Osmania Hospital morgue for autopsy and registered a case. A search is on to nab the suspect who went absconding after the incident.
