Telangana cabinet issues 4 ordinances

Hyderabad, June 18: A good news for Telangana Citizens. The Telangana Cabinet has decided to amend 4 existing acts and ordinances were issued in this regard on Saturday.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari has spoken to media after the cabinet meeting.
The main highlights of his speech are

* An ordinance was issued to amend the Gaming Act to ban online gambling.

* Record of Rights Act was also amended via an ordinance to ban
registration of government lands in the name of private persons and we
will cancel past illegal registrations of these lands he said.

* Preventive Detention Act was also amended aimed to curb the sale of
duplicate seeds and fertilizers, adulteration of food items and to
eliminate the use of fake educational certificates.

* A 4 th ordinance was issued to amend the VAT Act which will ensure that
all pending disputes will be resolved and the act will be effective till
6 years after the Rollout of GST.
