Govt nod to 26,290 police jobs

Hyderabad June 18: Here is the another good news fro the Telangana people, The state cabinet on Saturday ratified the recruitment of 26,290 posts in the police department at its meeting presided over by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

The posts include Constables, Sub-Inspectors, DSPs and other administrative staff.

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari said of the 26,290 posts, 18,290 will be new posts in addition to the 8,000 existing vacancies.

However, The recruitment process would begin by end of this year.

Earlier, govt Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday gave his consent to the creation of 2,506 jobs in the Revenue Department.

Additional staff will be appointed in Chief Commissioner Land Administration (CCLA), Stamps and Land Registration and Revenue Department.
