Amaravati to become Economic Growth Center

Amaravati, June 18: The Andhra Pradesh Municipal Minister Narayana said on Saturday that the Amaravati will become a home for national and international organizations.

The Chief Minister's aim is to change the capital Amaravati into the Economic Growth Center and efforts are on to bring more companies by the end of next year.

He visited the VIT and SRMs educational institutions of Amravati, along with CRDA Commissioner Cherukuri Sridhar.

While speaking to media reporters on the occasion, The classes will start from 19th of this month in VIT and SRM will start classes on August 7. The SRM will provide satellites designing, hydrogen-powered rail and Blue Economic Center in the next four years.

In this academic year, The VIT will have 660 students for undergraduates, 120 for Postgraduate students and 50 students in the research. The hostels were set up in Guntur and the students would be brought the students in buses.

The SRM is making local accommodation and Educational institutions set up in Amravati for students.

He explained that the government would reach the targets in the establishments of educational institutes by the government.
