Vijayawada will print the Passports soon

Vijayawada, June 17: The Southern coastal and Rayalaseema districts have been planning to print the passports in Vijayawada said in an official statement here on Friday.

If the process is started, there will be no longer any way to wait for passports in the post offices.

The Union Foreign Office is highly preferred to expand passport services in the state after bifurcation.

In this aspect, The passport service centers were opened in Kadapa, Kurnool, and Nellore.In combined Andhra Pradesh, the Regional Passport Service Centers are available only in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.

In this year, A new Regional Passport Service Center was launched in April 2017 in Vijayawada.The passport service center was later set up in Tirupati for the convenience of people coming from Rayalaseema districts.

In the last two-and-a-half years, the post offices in Kurnool, Kadapa, and Nellore have been opened. The eight districts in South Coast, Rayalaseema are able to complete pre-post-passport proceedings in nearby service centers.

Its printing system is presently in Visakhapatnam, which is also issued to all parts of the state from here. Nearly 1300 passports are being issued daily in the southern coastal and Rayalaseema districts.

The 500 passports from Vijayawada and Tirupati,300 passports in Kurnool, Kadapa, and Nellore have been approved soon.

With the order passage of the Passport printing in Vijayawada, the passports will be issued within one or two days from now.
