BJP MLA VishunuKumar lashed the AP Govt over land Scam

Vijayawada, June 17: The BJP floor leader MLA VishnuKumar Raju has raised various doubts o land scam of Vishakapatnam here on Friday.He also has demanded a judicial inquiry into this scam.

He said that The SIT constituted by the government will not yield any result unless it has a judicial officer.

He said about 1,400 acres of assigned land was fraudulently acquired from innocent farmers and shown as given under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) to the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA).

Even though he had spoken to the credentials in the Legislative Assembly at the time about the land scams.

He asked, "why the CID had probed the inquiry immediately after the rains in the Opposition Leader's office in the Legislative Assembly, The Government had not shown any seriousness on the complaints placed before it on Visakhapatnam lands issue six months back.

If the Government had taken action at that time, the issue could not have assumed such serious proportions," he said.

He said, "If the land they bought will be five years later, how can a business-friendly atmosphere be possible?"

The Special Investigation Team constituted by the Government demanded that the retired judge is appointed as a member. It has been revealed that how many types of land are being destroyed by a public inquiry.The scam is already in the observation of the Center, he added.
