47-year-old heroine getting ready for wedding now

Mumbai June 17: There is a popular saying..'It's better late than never'. It seems yesteryear heroine, 47-year-old Shobana is following it. As per the latest buzz, Shobana is getting ready marry her family friend.

Shobana is a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer and she entered films in 1984 and she went on to act in more than 200 films. She has acted in all the South Indian languages including Telugu. She is running the dance school in Chennai for past several years. She has so much love and passion towards dance that she has almost dedicated to herself to the art. She has been attending dance festivals around the world. Shobana was awarded Padmashri in 2006 for her contribution towards dance.

When it comes to her personal life, she has adopted a child in 2001 and named her Aantha Narayani. Even though there are reports about her marriage, there is no official confirmation from her. Surprisingly she didn't rule them out either. We have to wait for some more time to get the confirmation from the Shobana herself.
