Pune Defence factory blast :2 people dead

Pune India, June 16: A sad incident has happened yesterday. A blast at high security Ordnance Factory at Khadki, near Pune, took place yesterday. Sources say 2 people were dead and 2 others were injured in the explosion that took place around 9.30 am in the morning of June 15.

The accident took place when explosives were being shifted.The people dead were identified as workers of the factory and they are Ashok Kashinath (52) and Maria Rock (48).Defence PRO said that the two workers passed away after they suffered severe burn injuries.

They have also said that workers were rushed to the hospital for treatment and doctors could save only 2 of them. They have also said that the building is safe and the situation is under control .police have said that they will investigate the death of workers.
