Harish Rao slams congress Party over Miyapur land scam

Hyderabad June 16: Telangana govt has been slashed out on the allegations of the Miyapur Land scam, the ruling TRS vowed to expose the "illegal land dealings done by the Congress leaders during their regime."

Irrigation minister T Harish said while addressing media persons on Thursday, "Congress leaders are known for grabbing government lands and looting public properties. Their act of leveling false allegations against our party is meaningless. We will soon expose the illegal land dealings done by various Congress leaders during their rule"

The TRS leader then challenged TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy to prove his allegations made against the CM.Harish Rao put the blame on Congress and TDP, which had ruled the erstwhile United State for 43 years and 17 years respectively, for the ongoing land scam in the State capital.

"Successive governments led by the two parties failed to fix the loopholes in the Act relating to the abolition of ownership of Jagirdars (landlords) on lands. This is the root cause for the irregularities in land registrations in Hyderabad," he said.
