Terrorist attack in Somalia

Mogadishu, Somalia, AJune 15: An attack took place yesterday night. At least 18 people were dead and 10 people injured in a suicide car bombing. Government officials sources say that Shabaab militants have attacked two neighboring restaurants in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.

Country security spokesperson Mohamed Ahmed Arab said that "we have killed the gunmen and the operation is over ” He also said that “The terrorists have attacked business places and killed innocent civilians including a Syrian national."

Sources say that the attack began at around 8 pm local time on Wednesday evening. The live witness said that the gunmen had surrounded the restaurant in the night after the attack took place and they have killed the security forces. Police said that the situation is normal and they have taken steps to ensure peace returns in the country.
