ESL Narasimhan says, Not in race for Vice-Presidents post

Hyderabad, June 15: Telugu States Governor E S L Narasimhan has said that he was not aspiring for the post of Vice-President.He said here on Wednesday.

He said that "I am not aspiring for the post and God will decide about my future elevation."

Addressing the media persons on the sidelines of the Iftar party hosted by him at Raj Bhavan, the Governor, however, did not dismiss speculations about his elevation to a higher position.

Former Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah, Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, Deputy Chief Ministers Mohammad Mahmood Ali and K Srihari, Ministers K T Rama Rao, Jagadish Reddy, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, T Nageshwar Rao and Etela Rajender besides leaders of Opposition in Council and Assembly Shabir Ali and K Jana Reddy respectively participated in the Iftar party

He has completed six years in office as Governor of undivided Andhra Pradesh and now as the Governor of two Telugu States.

"The T-TDP leaders met me several times and tomorrow (Thursday), a Congress delegation is coming to meet me. There is no discrimination," he said.
