K Srikanth, HS pranoy advance in Indonesian Open

Jakarta, Indonesia June 15: A good news from Indian sports persons.Indian Shutters Kidambi Srikanth and HS Prannoy have advanced into the second round of the men's singles competition of Indonesia Super Series Premier.

Srikanth has won against Hong Kong's Wong Wing Ki Vincent. He has scored 21-15 ,17-21 ,21-16 . He may face Denmark s Jan O Jorgensen in the next round.

Earlier another Indian player Prannoy defeated Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. he has won by scoring 21-13 21-18.He will next face Malaysian Lee Chong Wei in the second round of the tournament.

Another player B sai Praneeth was eliminated from the tournament after he lost to Korean player Son Wan Ho. He has lost by 14-21,18-21.

Indians men's doubles players have exited the tournament. Players Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have lost to Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto. They have scored 9-21 ,19-21 .

Another pair Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy have disappointed the country by losing to Indonesia players Dian Fitriani and Nadya Melati.they suffered a loss by 21-19,19-21, 13-21.
