Actor Manoj Clarifies on his Tweet

Hyderabad, June 14: Manchu Manoj has deleted his tweet, Hours after announcing to quit acting. The Current Theega actor, who earlier posted that Okkadu Migiladu and his next film, would be his last films, has deleted his post on his Twitter page, on Wednesday.

As his announcement started to make headlines, he deleted the tweet which he made earlier.

Actor Manoj, however, clarified the tweet of quit by saying It was part of a promotional campaign for his next film. He tweet reads: 'Wow! Didn’t expect such an overwhelming response/criticism from media darlings for my tweet. Everyone really took a different turn! I had plans to announce my next movie in my own style, but it didn’t go down the right way, did it?.'

He also added, 'Looks like I’d have to wait for things to cool off today before making an official announcement about my next movie. Om Shanti (sic).' He also did not unveil the teaser of Okkadu Migiladu, which was scheduled to release at 4:15 PM today.

Manoj is the younger son of actor Mohan Babu. The actor has been part of the industry since he was a child. He made his debut as an adult in Donga Dongadi in 2004. The actor has played the leading man in about 17 films so far. Manoj is yet to make a mark in the industry.
