Amaravati to become Headquarters for Japan Companies : AP CM

Amaravati, June 13: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that The state capital Amaravati should become the Center for Japan's companies.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has met with Chief Minister at Velagapudi Secretariat on Monday.

While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Japan's Commerce and Industry Minister Yosukha Takagi will come to Amravati soon and complete plans for ICT, Sports, and Electronic Cities.

He said that Amaravati should become a headquarters for all the Japanese companies in India. Japan's JICA and METI companies have proposed industrial clusters in Andhra Pradesh as in the states of Rajasthan and Haryana.

The CM Chandrababu met with Japanese delegation comprising JICA Senior Vice-President Ejima Shinya. The event was attended by CRDA Chief Secretary Ajay Jain, Executive Director of State Economic Development Jasti Krishna Kishore and others.
