ISL to unveil 2 new teams

Mumbai, June 12: A good news for Indian Football players.The Indian Super League (ISL) organizers will announce two new teams today. The news teams unveiled will play in 2017-18 tournament and beyond.
Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), are currently responsible for organizing Indian Super League. FSDL said that they will announce the winning bids for the new teams on June 12.
Organizers said that the process of selection of new teams was conducted transparently by inviting bids through a tender process conducted on May 12 and the bid submission was closed on MAY 25.
An independent evaluation of each bid was done by E& B consultancy and it has submitted its report.
The bids were invited from prospective team owners such as - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Cuttack, Durgapur, Hyderabad, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Ranchi, Siliguri, and Thiruvananthapuram. Let's hope that the new teams announced today will perform well in the tournament.
