China PM praise a Indian film

Mumbai, June 11: China Prime Minister Xi Jinping informed to Indian PM Narendra Modi that he had seen Aamir Khan's latest movie 'Dangal' which has grossed around Rs 1,090 crore in China.

He also praised the Indian movies during the meeting with Modi. This report was confirmed by Indian Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar.

'Dangal' film was released in China on May 5th and emerged as highest grosser movie among non-Hollywood movies in the neighboring country.

In fact, A one-month extended Box Office run until July 4th of this year has been permitted for this wrestling-based film because of its stupendous success.

Apart from the movie, PM's of India and China were discussed about issues such as security & terrorism, border, defense, economic. China responded positively over the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

On the other hand, Central Minister Venkaiah Naidu claimed to happy with the overwhelming success of an Indian movie and the acclaim it received from China PM.
