Infosys ties up with Bodhtree under GST

HYDERABAD, JUNE 9: An IT company has tied up with another Institute. IT service provider Bodhtree Consulting had made an agreement with Infosys to let customers become GST compliant.

Under the agreement, the company will provide its GST Suvidha Provider (GSP) and Application Service Provider (ASP) services to famous IT company. Bodhtree is one of the 34 GSPs Central government has chosen for the smooth implementation of the Goods and Services Tax.

Company Managing Director Rama Krishna said that "the GST assessee base will be much larger than what we are assuming now". The number of assessees are currently 8 million and may become triple in future.he also said the company business would rise to 200 crores in coming three years.

Finally, he said that “GSPs and ASPs will be helpful for the IT ecosystem in GST filings and other related GST compliances".
