Slight Temperature rise may cause deadly Heat Waves

Washington, June 9: If there is any Increase in average Temperature of India slightly, then India has to face a Fatal rise in Heat Waves, Researchers are Warning.

A few degrees of warming over the coming decades could trigger a series of extreme and fatal heat waves in India.

The University of California scientists revealed details. They made a study of weather conditions in the country from 1960 to 2009.

If the average Temperature reaches to 27degree Celsius to 27.5 degrees Celcius, more than 100 deaths will happen in India and there is the chance that the opportunities have raised to 13 percent to 32 percent.

As the temperature goes higher, the impact can potentially become exponentially worse, so this is something that is very serious, very important,' said Omid Mazdiyasni, a researcher at the University of California, Irvine.

Due to Heat, 43 members died in 1975 and 34 members killed in 1976, according to Scientists. In those two years, the average temperature has recorded as 27.4 degrees.

After crossing 28degrees temperature 1600 members killed in 1998. On an average per every year heat, waves occurred for 7.3 days. 1500 were died due to raising in temperature in 1998 for 18 days and 2003 for 13 days.
