Paris, June 9: A good news from Tennis player. India has won the Mixed doubles title in French Open. Indian Player Rohan Bopanna and Candian Gabriela Dabrowski have won the mixed doubles final against the Anna-Lena Groenefeld (Germany) and Robert Farah(Colombia). They have scored 2-6, 6-2, 12-10.
Bopanna has lost his first set but came back strongly in the other two sets. The match became interesting because the last and final Set went too long. They have played 22 games in the 3 set.
He has become fourth Indian player to achieve the grand slam after Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes, Sania Mirza. After winning the match Rohan said that "it took me 7 years to enter the final and I have not let this opportunity go down". Let's hope that he wins next grand slams as well.
