Nara Lokesh launches Visa cashless program

Vishakapatnam, June 7: The Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and Panchayati Raj Nara Lokesh has called the people to participate in Visa cashless program in Visakhapatnam here on Wednesday.

The Andhra Pradesh Government has signed an agreement with Visa company at Davos to make Vizag the first cashless city in India. He stated that, Apart from promoting cashless transactions in government and private offices, the Visa will also cater to other activities including retail businesses.

Nara Lokesh will be signing the agreement ANSR company and APIIC at Novatel today.The 10 acres of land has been allocated to ANSR in Vizag while the firm will invest Rs 1,000 crore and create 10,000 jobs in the next 10 years.
