Hyderabad, June 7: A health tip was discovered by scientists recently. A new study conducted by scientists have revealed that Eggs helps in growth of young children. The study titled "Eggs in Complementary Feeding and Growth" was published in the Pediatrics journal.

The study shows that eggs significantly reduced stunting by 47% in young children. A trial was conducted in Ecuador in 2015, on children of ages six to nine months and they have been given one egg per day for six months.They were compared to a control group, who did not consume eggs. The experiments results revealed that children who ate eggs were found to be taller and heavier than the children that did not receive the eggs.

Scientists say that Both eggs are rich in nutrients such as proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Egg yolk contains cholesterol, fat-soluble vitamins, and essential fatty acids. Egg White contain protein, vitamin D, B6, B12 and minerals such as zinc, iron, and copper.Researchers say that egg is a complete food and an affordable diet.

Finally, the scientists say that eat an egg daily to prevent malnutrition.
