French open :Bacsinszky, Ostapenko storm into final 4

Paris June 7: French open is getting more interesting day by day as the Quarterfinals have begun.

In women's singles Quarter Finals

* Switzerland player Bacsinszky has entered the semi-
final of the tournament by defeating France player
Mladenovic. she has scored 6-4, 6-4.

* In another match Latvian Jelena Ostapenko has
entered the semifinal by defeating Denmark player
Carolina Wozniacki by scoring 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

The quarter-final matches of men's singles which were scheduled for Tuesday have been postponed to Wednesday because of the rain.
