Sachin becomes   Super DAD

United Nations, June 7: A former Indian cricketer has joined a Global initiative. Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has joined a roster of global celebrities such as David Beckham, Novak Djokovic, for a special UNICEF campaign that highlights the crucial role played by a father in the early development of a child.

The UNICEF initiative 'Super Dads', will be launched before Father’s Day, it celebrates fatherhood and highlights the importance of love, play, protection and good nutrition for the healthy growth and development of young children.

The campaign features many celebrities and sports persons such as Award winning American actor Mahershala Ali, British Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton and Australian actor Hugh Jackman.

Indian Cricket God, UNICEF Ambassador said that "when I was a young my father gave me the right amount of love, freedom, and support to shape who I am today". he also said that "every kid needs protection, love, good food and play to support growth and development".

Tennis superstar Djokovic said that "being a new parent is hard and there are many challenges that fathers across the world face".

UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador said that this campaign is about supporting and encouraging fathers who give love and support to children.

Finally, the company said that we will post albums of the videos and photos of celebrity dads along with the stories of super dads from across the world.
