India loses 3 nation hockey tournament

Dusseldorf (Germany), June 7: A sad news for Indian hockey team. India lost the 3-Nations Invitational hockey tournament. India has lost to Germany in the last and final deciding match held yesterday. India was defeated by 2-0.

Although India began well to defend Germany but had lost its way in the middle. India secured 4 points in the tournament and has exited. The team has won against Belgium on Monday but couldn't continue its winning performance on Tuesday.

Earlier India has lost to Belgium in its opening match and secured a draw against Germany last week. Germany had won the match against Belgium, India and secured 7 points to emerge as the winner.

Let's hope that India performs better in coming matches.
