Dhinakaran Meets Sasikala

Chennai, June 06: AIADMK deputy general secretary T T V Dhinakaran on Monday met party chief V K Sasikala at the Parappana Agrahara prison.

As we knew that, Dhinakaran was recently released from Tihar Jail on bail after he was arrested on corruption charges.

This is the first meeting between Dhinakaran and Sasikala after he was released. He came to the prison with his family members, 12 MLAs, and an MP. But, the prison officials allowed only four people to meet Sasikala.

According to sources, Sasikala and Dhinakaran discussed the political developments in Tamil Nadu and the Centre. Their discussions lasted over an hour.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Dhinakaran said the AIADMK had faced some troubles in the past 45 days over various issues. I have told Sasikala about the political developments in Tamil Nadu.

This was in response to Dinakaran’s assertion that he will resume involving himself in party affairs. While he was in Delhi's Tihar jail, Chief Minister Palanisamy appears to have gotten used to the idea of running the show, rather than be Sasikala or Mr. Dinakaran's proxy.

"At a party meeting on April 17, a unanimous decision was taken to sideline Dinakaran and those related to him", Jayakumar said. So, no party workers will meet Dinakaran, he said. No one else has a right to decide anything else in the party.
