YCP announces Nandyal By-Poll Candidate

Vijayawada, June 06: AP Minister Akhila Priya took Nandyal By-Pool as a prestige issue. She is firm on the stand that one of her family members should contest the by-poll on TDP Ticket.

At the same time, The Allagadda MLA lobbied with Opposition Parties to make the election of TDP Candidate unanimous. However, The plans of the first-timer seem to have not yielded good results so far.

YS Jagan is keen on fielding his party candidate in Nandyal By-election as Bhuma Nagireddy won on YCP ticket in 2014. He believes winning from here in spite of sympathy wave could be beneficial to the part ahead of 2019 Polls.

YCP Leader Katasani Ramireddy declared Nandyal in-charge Rajagopal Reddy will be the party's candidate for the by-election.

Jagan made a strategic move here - Katasani is the father-in-law of TDP Nandyal by-poll candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy. Yuva Neta made Katasani announce the name of YCP Candidate.
