Hyderabad, June 5: A fraud who allegedly tried to Cheat the Politicians was arrested with the help of The TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, here on Monday.

In-Depth into the matter, The accused was identified as Balaji, belongs to Tenali in Guntur District.

Police claimed that 'He tried to cheat the Leaders by making phone calls in the name of Devara Kumar. He had hoped the leaders that Rs 2 crore would be provided for deposits of Rs. 25,000.

Police said, 'His assistant Ankush was arrested at 8 pm on Sunday night and with the help of him we trapped Balaji and made him reach Aler and arrested him.' 'There are many cases both in Telangana and Andra Pradesh,' they added.

He used to make calls to political leaders in the name of finance secretary and said 'There is a huge Fund released from Central Government in the Scheme of Prime Minister Employment Guarantee, Sources Said.

According to records, he was arrested on November 1, 2013, by the CCS police. When Kiran Kumar Reddy ruling as the chief minister, Balaji had done such frauds, in interrogation this news came out, police said.

However, Pongulati, MLA Kishan Reddy, and Dhulipalla Narendra has received the phones and paid money to the fraud. Finally, he made a phone call to Revanth Reddy and his PA has information about the fraud and gave information to police.
