Gujarat CM helps Accident Victims

Ahmedabad, June 5: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani showed his good gesture and helped two women who were injured in a road accident near Kudasan in Gandhinagar, here on Sunday.

CM was returning to Gandhinagar after inaugurating the new building of Indian Red Cross Society's Gujarat branch.

On his way, he saw that an auto-rickshaw had met with an accident near Kudasan and stopped his convoy. He helped the victims by rushing towards the auto helped them to come out from the vehicle.

Later, Chief Minister allotted one of his convoy vehicle for the injured to travel to the hospital and directed his security officer M V Barot to take them to the Gandhinagar Civil Hospital and also said him to make the necessary arrangements which are required for their treatment.

Injured two women were identified as Chandrika Shrimali (45) and Dharmishta Shrimali (30) were given first aid in Gandhinagar and later they were shifted to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital for CT scan and MRI which were not possible in Gandhinagar Hospital.

Both the women suffered minor injuries in the accident and their condition was normal, they will be discharged by Monday, Sources in Ahmedabad Civil Hospital said'.
