Minister climbs Tree to get Mobile Signal

Rajasthan, June 5: It may not be a new thing for villagers in far-flung places to climb tree tops to get a better cellphone signal. Union Minister of State for Finance, Arjun Ram Meghwal, climbed Tree for Cell Phone Signal when he was on an official visit to his constituency in Bikaner’s Dholiya village, here on Sunday.

While coming to news, Minister After receiving complaints repeatedly from villagers about the lack of nurses in a local hospital, he had tried to call a health officer, without luck.

According to Sources, 'The villagers explained to the minister that it was almost impossible to catch signals from there.'

Villagers told to Mr. Meghwal to 'Climb a tree,' who was baffled for some moments. The 62-year-old, who is always seen in his trademark safari or turban, admitted that he couldn't really climb a tree just like that.



Immediately, villagers bought a Ladder, to help the minister climb with his phone held high soon after his mobile phone started receiving the signals.

A video of Mr. Meghwal talking on the phone to an official while balancing himself on the ladder has been widely shared on social media and gone Viral.

Minister had apparently discussed the construction of a Water plant to assess water contamination to the Village. He also directed to arrange the mobile towers in the villages within three months, at a cost of Rs. 13 lakh, and electricity cables, After facing the Signal Problem.
