Swine flu claims 22 lives

Hyderabad, June 4: The dangerous disease Swine flu has claimed 22 deaths from since August of last year.These cases have been rising day by day.

Here one more case of swine flu has been reported in the city on Saturday.

Around 20 people were tested for the H1N1 virus on June 1, one was found to be positive, a release from the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department said.

Totally, 11,115 samples tested since August 1, 2016, as many as 1,518 were found to be positive. The death toll due to swine flu and related complications stood at 22 so far.

The release said the Institute of Preventive Medicine was providing free testing services to all patients from private hospitals.
