Tollywood Director arrested

Hyderabad, June 3: Tollywood director Nalluri Ramakrishna alias Kittu in a case relating to the illegal exchange of demonetized currency notes has arrested by Hyderabad City police on Friday.

In the Past, he directed 'Ketugaadu' movie. Kittu has been on the run after his office at Kamalapuri Colony in Banjara Hills was raided by the police on 13th March.

The Police received information that he was cheating people in the name of exchanging old notes for the new currency notes for the commission. Soon after the information, the Police appeared in his office, Kittu jumped the wall in the backyard of his office and ran away from there. Special police teams have been formed to nab him.

After tracing his phone signals Krishna was arrested at Charla village near Bhadrachalam of Khammam district. After following his movements, the Special Police teams took him into custody.

In that raid, Police have seized the accused car after confiscating old demonetized notes worth Rs. 1.3 Crore from his office. Three persons were also arrested by the police who were assisting him in exchange of old notes.

Kittu ran away and was reportedly hiding in Bangalore After the police have filed a cheating case against him. The accused will be produced in a competent court, here on Saturday.
