Two arrested for online fraud

Hyderabad, June 2: The Cybercrime Police have arrested two persons including a student, who were cheating many people on the pretext of providing Google Adwords Invoice account here on Thursday.

While coming to details, The accused identified as Kallepalli Bala Gangadhar(29) is an ex-google employee while Bokara Bhanuji Rao (21) is a student. The duo was arrested by the cops after receiving a complaint from one of their victims: A. Radha Krishna (25). They offered Krishna three Google Adwords account for Rs 2 lakhs.The account is useful for promoting advertisements under digital marketing.

They convinced him that he is getting three accounts for the cost of a single account and will also get free coupons of Flipkart worth of Rs 50,000. After Krishna paid Rs 1 lakh to the accused, they started avoiding Krishna's calls.

On cracking the case, it was found out that the accused was an ex-employee of Google and he had experience in Digital marketing. After leaving the job in Google, he faced financial problems and hence decided to cheat the victims.

While the techie hunted out information about the victims and established contact with them, he had used the account of the student to accept payments.
