Kodandam demands CBI probe

Hyderabad June 01: Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram has been demanded the state govt to issue a CBI inquiry into the Miyapur land registration scam, he said here on Thursday.

He also alleged on the Telangana government was attempting to escape from extending help to the displaced people.

Addressing the media reporters here on Thursday, Kondaram informed that the Telangana govt had issued a GO No 123 but he, in turn, asked the government not to acquire lands from the farmers without their consent.

Even he Also advised the farmers not to give into the government's demands or pressure and refuse to sign the papers.

Taking a stand that the JAC would support the farmers and even offer legal aid, Professor Kodandaram said that they would be organizing a meeting at Delhi shortly regarding the forceful land acquisition by the Telangana govt.
