Fake Ghee racket busted

Hyderabad, May 31: The Medipalli SOT Police have busted a fake ghee racket and seized 400Kg ghee,200 palm oil tins, 90 kgs of milk cream and other things here on Wednesday.
The SOT Police have arrested a gang of seven members, who were allegedly selling fake ghee to the famous markets like D-Mart etc.They also selling turmeric powders, chili powders, ginger onion paste, Masala powders etc.
This gang chief Venkata Ram Gopal are running the firm from 4 yrs in Tanuku of West Godavari district in the name of Murari products.In the firm, They will heat the palm oil and be mixing with butter and various products. Then produced a fake ghee was distributed to Begumbazar, Secunderabad, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, mallapur areas etc.
The Malkajgiri SOT police have raided and arrested the accused chief Venkata Ram Gopal, supervisor Prasad and Bikshpathi and 4 others, said by the Medipalli SI Mahender.
